About Rufus (59887)
Rufus is a sweet senior boy looking for a comfortable home to live out his days. Rufus came to gaws through no fault of his own and has been a pleasure to look after. He walks well on a harness, is affectionate and lovely to handle. Rufus is housetrained and has history living with children as young as 2. Given his age and his preference for his owners to give him all the attention, Rufus is best as the only dog in the home and is not suitable for living with cats. Rufus was found to have a mast cell tumour on his leg. Whilst our vets have been able to successfully remove this, he may be prone to more. This can be managed by his owners keeping an eye on any lumps that may form and having a good relationship with their veterinary clinic.
