Hi, I’m Bart.
I’m a cute little guy who would be suitable in most homes as long as you’ve owned a dog before! I’d be happy with a quiet and calm household, or a loud and busy one. I’m super happy around people and love affection. I can jump up when I’m excited but I’m still learning my manners.
I’d be open to live with children of any age, so bring them in the meet me if you have kids at home. I have met other dogs at the facility and I prefer female dogs over males. If you have a female dog at home, let the staff know so we can set up a meet and greet! I can come on strong at first due to the anticipation, but I try to be gentle when I’m playing.
I’d love a home with a yard and secure fencing. If you work part-time that would be perfect for me while I’m settling in to the new environment and learning the routine. I still need some training but it should be easy as I am very attentive with my carers and love treats. I’d love to go on daily walks and maybe bush walks on the weekends.
If you’d like to meet me, submit an expression of interest below.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
