Hi, I’m Missy!

I’m small in stature but big in personality! I can be quite timid around strangers so I’d prefer to go to a home with someone who has owned dogs before. I like the idea of a calm and quiet household as this is where I will be most comfortable.

Due to my sensitivity I’d be best around children who are dog savvy and can be quiet and gentle around me. I’d love a nice comfy bed inside to sleep in of a night, and spend lazy days watching tv on the lounge with you. I’m very affectionate and my whole body wags when my tail starts going.

I’m not overly active so short walks daily would be fine for me, as long as I have a yard to do zoomies and sunbake in. I would be open to living in an apartment as long as my exercise and enrichment needs can be fulfilled.

I have met other dogs at the shelter and I need some more positive exposure around them before I can live with one. I may need a few professional training sessions to assist with my sociability. I was returned to the facility as I did not like being left alone. I adore company and would like to go places with my family. We may need to consult a professional if my separation anxiety continues in a home.
