About Calle
Calle is a lovely cuddle bunny. This stunning shiny black girl has bright eyes that will bring a smile to all she meets.
She can be a little shy with strangers initially but she will quickly show lots of affection and demand cuddles. She is very cheeky and loves a game with her humans. Calle is also very chatty, vocalising, as if in conversation with you. She will comment if dinner is a bit late or give a gentle bark from another room if she thinks it time for you to come and play.
In her foster home. Calle dotes on her foster brother, she looks to him for reassurance and comfort. She would be very happy to share a home with a suitable hound companion, but can be the only dog if you have time and patience to make the adjustment. Calle is very well toilet trained and can wait till the morning to be let out for a pee. Calle is very happy to sleep on her own bed in her foster parent’s bedroom.
Calle enjoys two walk each day with her foster brother, about 20 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes when her humans come home from work. She walks well on lead and enjoys the scenery, hoping to say hello to as many humans as possible. Calle has also been very happy to meet all the various hounds they encounter on their walks but isn’t a fan of rude and yappy dogs. Calle will take some time to adjust to busy and noisy neighbourhoods with loud noises such as skateboarders and trucks.
Calle is a stunning young girl, her sunny bright personality will bring joy to you every day.
No cats or very small dogs
No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
