About Gaia
Gaia is named after the character in the series ‘The 100’ and there she is the sacred flame keeper. A striking individual in the show and a very striking puppy in this litter!
Gaia is a confident pup who will happily be involved with all activities. She is confident girl and will happily join in on any adventures. Gaia is very playful – you could watch her all day. She will play with any toys and anyone who will be up for it. Toys are particularly fun for this pup, and you often catch her little cute white foot pawing away at something new. Gaia is such a pretty girl with her shiny black coat and her white chest. She is bound to turn heads wherever she goes.
What a journey this litter has had. Mumma Bellamy was rescued from a pound and gave birth a week later to 11 beautiful puppies.
These pups are growing and developing quickly. Their foster mum is giving them so many fantastic learning experiences for exposure. Everyday the pups are doing something new – people, kids, dogs, treats and lots of outdoor experiences. They have been exposed to loud noises and heaps of the regular household activities such lawn mowing, the blower and whipper snipper – all having quick recovery responses. The pups watch the vacuum cleaner and trolleys rolling without a fuss and have zero care for the washing machine or draining water noises. The litter have even had outings to the RAAF base where they have watched planes come in or just slept through the noises!
While in care the puppies have fun climbing in and out of boxes, up ramps and under obstacles – nothing is too scary for them. They have started going on car trips and have now had positive experiences with storms rolling through. In fact, the pups are more than happy to have a quick snooze through these things as there is nothing to fear.
These puppies have been brought up on a varied diet and introduced to a variety of raw foods. You can’t miss the quality shine of their coats. The puppies are growing quickly and will end up being larger dogs (mum is a 30kg large mixed breed and dad is unknown). The puppies have been snoozing the night away in their crates and are now starting to find their way to the toilet outside to the grass instead of their bed.
We are looking for a home with experience training medium to large sized dogs and who live a full life. Gaia is a confident little pup and will thrive in the right home. We will expect any new home to have a training and socialising plan for their puppy to ensure they grow up into social, well exposed dogs. Gaia will suit a home with a balanced lifestyle that is filled with play and cuddles. She is an intelligent puppy who will be great to train. If you can give Gaia a mix of all her favourites including play time, engagement training, exploring and cuddles, you may just be the right forever home for her.
If you are interested in making this beautiful girl a part of your family, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry Form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please add plenty of detail about your family, previous dog experience and the type of life you can off Gaia.
Please note that whilst we are accepting adoption interest now, these pups will not be going to their new families until they are a minimum of 8 weeks old.

Please note that puppies will not leave until at least 8 weeks of age and they will be adopted out on a desexing contract.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
