About George
George is a handsome, curious, gentle and affectionate 6 month old kitten patiently waiting for his furever home. He enjoys the company of felines, canines and humans and loves to be close to you and follow you around the house, give headbutts to get attention and will bend his head down so you can kiss him on the top of his head between his ears. He'll purr very loudly when you give him chin, cheek and head scratches.
George loves having access to a big window to watch and chatter at the birdies outside. He doesn't have expensive tastes in toys, some of his favourites are scrunched up bits of aluminium foil and discarded bottle tops. He also likes to supervise when you're at the computer making sure you take breaks by sitting between you and the keyboard when he thinks you need a break and can often be entertained by the cursor moving around on the screen.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
