Meet Sandy, the Wire Hair Jack Russell!
Super affection and kind hearted Sandy ❤️
This handsome four year old pup is a bundle of energy and loves nothing more than playing with his toys or going on nightly possum patrol, followed by snuggles with his person.
Sandy is a fun cute little dog looking for his happy ever after.
Sandy likes other small dogs and while he is a bit afraid of dogs bigger than him he is curious about them and is happy to observe them.
Sandy is a TYPICAL little Jack Russell. Good looking, smart, fun, tenacious, full of energy and very loyal to his people. He loves playing with toys and especially loves anything with a squeaker in it.
Sandy does have epilepsy but it is under control through the use of medication.
Sandy is a fun boy and is highly adaptive to change. He is a bit nervous initially but once he realises what is expected of him settles in quickly.
Sandy is such a versatile guy he would be suited to a variety of homes from a family with children / doing dogs sports / a country lifestyle to even inner city living where he can learn to be a cafe going dog.
Sandy is a typical Jack Russell. He would love life on a property where he can hunt, or a home where he'll be allowed to release his prey drive instinct through playing with toys such as a flirt pole.
Sandy also has a very affectionate side and when he is finally feeling sleepy he enjoys cuddle time next to his human. He would ideally prefer a home where his human is home more often than not.
Sandy has already been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed; so he's all ready to go to his new home. He has had some experience around other small dogs, he tends to ignore most dogs, and gets along great with older children.
We would say no to cats and small pets.
To keep Sandy happy and safe, a secure fence is required in his new home.
Despite being very active and a TYPICAL Jack Russell, he would enjoy a fairly calm home - a home where he can run and use up that energy through the day but then curl up inside with his family in the evening.
Sandy doesn’t do well in the car 🚗 , so minimal car travel is best for him.
Sandy is currently located in Red Hill, and the adoption fee for him is $695. If you think he could be the perfect addition to your family, don't wait any longer - contact us today to arrange a meet and greet!
