Dexter *On Trial*

*dexter is currently trialling his new home* this adorable little munchkin is dexter and he’s looking for a new forever home after misplacing his old one – will it be with you???

dexter ended up in the pound after being found wandering the streets of mildura. While “doing time” dexter shared a pen with a litter of big mastiff cross pups who were very gentle and looked after this little guy. Safe now with sarg dexter’s a healthy, happy, friendly little pup who is very affectionate and loves being with you especially in your arms or on your knee. While in foster care little dexter will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” as well as learning to walk on a lead. This social, busy pup is confident around people and children as well as other animals especially other friendly dogs. Being short haired he’s a low maintenance pup too who loves his tucker and will be quite small when he finishes growing – he only weighs 1. 9kgs at 12 weeks of age!

as dexter is only a young puppy he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing and toys to keep him stimulated are also a necessity so he doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. Dexter would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup as he does tend to sook now that he’s away from his big pup buddies although we do have 2 of them coming to join dexter real soon but we haven’t told him yet, its a surprise!!
