Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Tucker - 2 Year Old French Bulldog (Triial)
I am Tucker. A small bundle of joy who loves to cuddle, smooch and then have my quiet and down time.
It is important to me that I am in a home that doesn’t have a lot of activity and energy because when you get to my age, it’s time to rest and relax. I love to sleep, but really, who doesn’t and if I find the right spot in the sun somewhere I am a happy boy.
I am already house trained. How good is that. I worked hard to be house trained so the home I go to will have to be somewhere that welcomes me inside with open arms. I will make myself at home very quickly!
My foster sisters are my friends, we love to cuddle and play so I can go to a home that has other dogs, we’ll just need to make sure the other dogs aren’t too over the top for me to handle so a meet and greet will be super important.
If you are reading this and thinking, Tucker is the man for me, reach out to my foster Mum. She’d love to hear from you and organise for you to meet me! Don’t you worry, I will win you over!
To register your interest in adopting Tucker you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Tucker is in foster care in the Booragul, NSW area. They are not currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $700.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.

For more information or to meet Tucker, please contact their carer Bianca on bianca.sexton16@gmail.com.
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don’t accept cash or personal cheques.
