About Jim
Meet Jim, a 10-week-old rescue kitten! He is an adventurous, adorable and animal loving tabby cat with striking black and grey patterns on his fluffy fur. Jim loves company and exploring new things, so he will happily chase around anything that moves! He also enjoys cuddling up to humans, although he may be initially hesitant when it comes to being picked up.
Jim has no problem interacting with other animals, both cats and dogs alike. Since being fostered at his current home, he has gone from shy and scared of everything to an affectionate, purry and playful little guy who loves receiving pats and cuddles.
His ideal home would be one with another pet for him to play with, but he would also be okay living alone as long as there is someone willing to spend time with him and give him the love and affection he craves.
With his incredible personality, Jim is sure to make a wonderful companion for any household.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
