About Dare
Dare has the ‘dark and handsome’ part nailed! He is a gorgeous little pup who gets attention wherever he goes. Dare has the personality and temperament to match his good looks. He is a sweet boy who is happy for some cuddle time with his people. He has that lovely balance where he is also happy to be independent and go off to do his own exploring. Dare likes to investigate the yard and find nice places for a nap.
Dare has been in foster care with one of his siblings and an adult dog. He is very social with other dogs and loves to play. Like any puppy, Dare will need ongoing socialisation experiences with other dogs and people so he can grow up to be the friendliness boy ever. The dog socialisation should ideally be through playdates with known friendly dogs rather than at dog parks to ensure positive experiences. Dare is expected to grow up to be a medium sized dog who will have average energy levels. He will need a daily walk and mental stimulation to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life.
While in foster care, Dare has been starting some basic training. He is mostly toilet trained but this will need to be continued in his new home. Dare enjoys rides in the car and is crate trained where he is fine to be left alone. He is food motivated and happy to work for his treats. Dare will need a family committed to his ongoing training and development. It would be great for him to go to puppy preschool and group training classes where he can bond with his new family.
We are looking for a dog savvy home where Dare will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will need a home with another friendly and playful doggy companion or where someone is home more often than not to settle him into new routines. Dare will need to be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. He came from an environment where he grew up with cats and children so he will be fine to live with both with the appropriate guidance and training. This playful and happy puppy will make a great addition to his new home.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
