Hi, I’m Pickle!
I was found on a busy road in Campbelltown after being hit by a car. A kind person took me to the vet as I couldn’t move my legs. At the vet they did lots of tests and took good care on me, and miraculously I had no injuries! After a few days, I was walking and completely back to normal.
I’m a young guy with a lot to learn and the best way to learn is by getting a new home.. I won’t be able to learn much here as there are a lot of other dogs who need training as well. I have learned to sit so far and at the moment I’m trying to walk nicely on the lead without pulling.
I’m already a big guy, and still have some growing to do. But, I’m generally quite gentle so I would be open to meeting children aged 8 years and over who won’t be scared of me. I have met other dogs as the facility and it has become apparent that I was never socialised as a puppy so dogs scare me a little. I would be best as the only pet for now.
I would really benefit from group training classes so I can have more positive exposure to other doggies and learn to be around them without reacting.
A home with a yard and secure, high fencing would be best for me. I’m learning to play with toys so a selection to choose from would be a dream!
I really love pats all over and I adore everybody I meet. Come see me today!

Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
