Hi, I’m Merrick.
I’m a very shy guy looking for a home with an experienced and patient dog owner who will be able to help me build my confidence and become a more comfortable and outgoing doggie.
I’d love a home that is usually quiet and doesn’t have a lot going on. I wouldn’t mind what size yard I have as long as there’s enough room for the occasional zoomie, and the fencing is high and secure.
Due to my fearful nature it would be best if any children at home were at least teenagers and are able to come and meet me before we all go home together.
I have met other dogs at the facility and I show a lot of fearfulness around them and shouldn’t be interacting with other dogs until I have more confidence and socialisation.
My new owners will have to be committed to doing some extra training with me, potential with the help of a professional as I’m a sensitive young man and I want to be a great pet for my new family.

How much does it cost to adopt?
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
