Meet Zak!

Zak is looking for an owner experienced with Husky/Mastiff breeds and who understands their requirements.

As Zak is part working-breed and still a young guy he has sooooooo much energy. He will need an active lifestyle and lots of enrichment toys and activities to keep his mind and body sharp! He will also benefit greatly from on-going training, he's such a smart boy and he has already mastered a couple of tricks.

Zak would be best suited in a dog savvy home, he can be a bit jumpy but he loves kids so if you have older kids in your household please bring them in to meet him and see if it is a good fit.

His hoomans will need to be willing to work on his skills and build his confidence as we don't think he has had much exposure to the world so things are a little scary for him.

Zak is a bit unsure about other dogs at the moment and will need to build his confidence and work on his socialisation with his new hoomans. He may be happy to live with a like-minded dog that can show him the ropes. Please bring your resident dog in for a little shelter date.
