About Cherry
Cherry is one of the loveliest, friendly cats I've fostered for a while, a real gentle smoocher (like your classic ragdoll personality) and she's ready and waiting for her perfect forever home to come along.
Cherry came into care from the local pound heavily pregnant.
She had 3 little babies and then 5 days after that adopted 2 newborn kittens who's mother had been run over. She was a super-star mum! Looking after her 5 litter cherubs and she's now ready for her forever home after her babies have all gone onto their new homes.
She is an easy going cat, likes being picked up, LOVES neck scratches and doesn't seem phased by the resident dog, or the other cats in the household. She is a very easy cat and will truly fit into most households. She would be ok in a largish apartment or house and she'd be fine in a single person house or just as easily fit into a busy family setting. She would prefer a home with people around half the time to give her lots of cuddles and attention. She will be a great lap cat.
Sadly Cherry is currently in a cattery situation and she is getting very lonely. So we are also looking for a foster carer who could house her until a permanent home comes along.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
