About 🐭Schnooki 🐭
Schnooki is a timid girl, looking for a working cat home - she has decided that the cushy indoor life around humans isn't for her, and would thrive in a barn or farm environment where she can help keep mice and rats at bay - all she needs is a dry, warm shelter, supplemental food (big bag provided at adoption to get you started) and 6-monthly worm treatments crushed into her food, to treat her for parasites (approx $20).
Schnooki is an independent spirit. Shaped by her early life on the streets, she has learned to coexist with people but prefers to keep her distance, maintaining her own space.
She has grown to trust her carer in terms of being fed and feeling safe and comfortably secure. However, she remains wary of touch and isn't fond of the more hands-on aspects of care.
Schnooki, is quite shy and likes to spend her days sprawled out by the screen doors in the morning sunshine, or across my foster Mum’s bed in the afternoon sun.She loves to sunbake, and have the breeze on her face.
She absolutely loves solo play, so we think a job as a mouse catcher will suit her perfectly. She is more active in the evening.
Although, she hasn't been brave enough to accept pats or cuddles, she eats treats out of Mum’s hand and loves being scratched with her crochet wand on a stick. It’s heaven!
She's hoping to find her purrfect match, who accepts and respects her boundaries and will allow her to live her best life.
So if you are looking for an agile, healthy lady to help you manage the mouse 🐭 population at your rural or semi rural property? Look no further than Schnooki! She's healthy, vaccinated, desexed & microchipped.
