It may be May but April wants to find her perfect home!
April came in as a scared little pup as apart of the ninja turtle litter and has blossomed into a beautiful young girl ready to take on the world.
With continued exposure in care she has come in leaps and bounds. April loves other dogs and gets cheeky by stealing her foster siblings toys. She enjoys a good game of tug-o-war and is learning to fetch a ball.
April doesn’t mind children as long as they aren't rude. She is shy but will come to you when she’s comfortable. A house with a fur sibling would be good. A home where she can snuggle up to you would be perfect.
If you can offer April a chance to grow and continue training then fill in an application and the successful person will get the chance to meet her.

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
