About Marley
*Must be homed with another confident and relaxed dog*
Marley is a sweet little girl weighing in at 5kgs. She is 7 years old and a spunky little dog that loves to follow her foster carer around. She loves pats and cuddles and will give you lots of licks and love in return.
She would love nothing more than to sit on your lap and be near you, although she does understand the word “off” and will jump down in a flash if you don’t want her there.
She can be a little feisty at times but is also quick to calm down. She loves her walks and is mostly toilet trained: she won’t use the doggy door but will do her business outside as long as she can go out.
She will need to be groomed on a regular basis, her fur was matted to the skin when she came into foster care. She did really when professionally groomed. She is fine with being bathed, brushed or having her face cleaned.
Most importantly, Marley needs to be placed in a home with another dog. She has spurts when she wants to play and loves to do the zoomies in the morning... Marley can be quite insistent on playing and is not very good at reading if another dog doesn’t want to play. She loves to lick other dogs' faces and mouth fight, so your dog will need to be tolerant of this. Being used to a furry companion her whole life, she also craves the comfort of sleeping with them.
Marley came in with a dog named Bear (an 11 year old Maltese Shitzu). If you think your home would be suitable for the two of them, please note this on your application.
Do you think that you have the right home for Marley? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet.
3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possible invite you to a meet and greet.
