Meet Batata!

Batty boy, a much-loved cat within the Cattery, has been here since mid-March after coming to us as a stray. Batata came to us in poor shape, covered in wounds and sick with cat flu; he's been under the watchful eye of our Veterinary staff and has made a full recovery!

He is extremely friendly and sociable and will greet you the second you walk through the door with a cheerful meow and a demand for pats. He doesn't mind being picked up and cuddled, he dabbles in a bit of play and enjoys the attention from adults and kids alike. Batata is also more than happy to laze about while you slave away preparing his breakfast, lunch and dinner, and would be equally fine if you had to leave him alone throughout the day for work.

Given his history on the streets, in no surprise to us that Batata is FIV positive, meaning he will now need to lead an indoor only lifestyle (unless you have a secure cat run) and could only live with FIV+ cats, if at all.
