My name is Paris. I'm mature lady looking for a calm, quiet forever home. Due to nobody's fault but unfavourable circumstances, I need a new family, perhaps with calm and respectful older teens.
I can be worried and easily overwhelmed in new environments, please be patient with me and give me time to settle. I do enjoy yummy treats, and they could help me along in learning to bond with my new humans, eventually enjoying touch and perhaps even cuddles. I will also need refresher training on toileting (I need to 'go' frequently) and lead walking with confidence because I didn't leave the house much in my previous situation, so the outside world will worry me initially.
A crate to withdraw to would help me along greatly. The Behaviour Team here at RSPCA will tell you more about my fears and anxieties, and how to manage them.
I could get along well with a calm doggie friend, but we must meet at time of adoption.
