Ziggy, is super sweet, cuddly, energetic and great with kids. He is a boxer x staffy and is all smiles. His nature is that of chilling for most of the day where he will want to lounge around and if possible, sit next to or on you and love you with his eyes (he has great eye contact). He is a very affectionate dog and will come and ask for affection and attention a lot unless settled into his spot in the house. He does get excited though and when he does, he likes to boost around playing fetch or tug and shows lots of excitement and energy. He loves to wrestle and play on the floor and his absolute favourite is rolling around on his back in the morning sun whist getting belly rubs and playfully trying to mouth your hands. On command he will calm down when stimulus is low however does need help regulating when in highly stimulating environments. Ziggy is a very intelligent dog and has learnt quickly although does need reinforcement when out and about as it can be all very exciting. He has been undergoing training to help calm his overall behaviour and would need to continue this type of training for the next few months or until settled in to his new home. Ziggy is OK with other dogs but does get excited which he has been working on.

Ziggy needs a family or owner who can dedicate time + energy to him and his needs. Who is prepared to take the time to create a really strong healthy bond with him. Who has patience for this type of transition. He will most likely find the initial adjustment hard and as such needs that love and support in the first weeks.
