About Mantra
Mantra is a sweet girl looking for her new home, she can be a little shy at first but once settled it’s all love.
She’s looking for someone who can help her navigate the world, take her to new places and build her confidence.
Mantra is still learning and further training is recommended, not only will this help with her confidence but it will help build a strong bond with her.
She knows how to sit and wait for her food, she’s learning that jumping on people isn’t okay and that she gets more attention when sitting.
Mantra enjoys chewing on bones while her foster humans are out, she tends to get a little board and this helps keep her entertained. Things like food puzzles, kongs and other food toys are great too.
Ideally looking for someone who can give this girl all that she needs, a place with older children would be great too. Other dogs are ok but Mantra does like to hog the attention at times. Supervision is always recommended with new dogs.

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
