About π Duchess π
If you are interested in one of our animals, please fill in our adoption inquiry form here - www.cognitoforms.com/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarra1/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarraIncAnimalEnquiry
Our beautiful mama, Duchess is a beautiful all-white girl with unique eyes. It is rare but a condition called heterochromia can result in cats having two different coloured eyes. These odd-eyed cats typically have one iris (the coloured part of the eye) thatβs blue while the other is either green, brown or yellow. This doesn't have any impact on her sight or anything else other than the colour of her eyes.
Not only does Duchess have unique eyes, she is also deaf. Other than not being able to hear you, this does not stop her from doing anything that a hearing cat would do. Due to this, she would like to find a family who will understand her needs and keep her safe inside at all times. She can be trained just like any other cat and we can provide information all things deaf cat related. :)
Duchess is a loving girl who is super affectionate and loves to be around her people all the time.
So if youβre looking for a loyal companion, our girl might be the one for you to curl up on the couch at night with.
Duchess wants to be an only cat so she can have her humans all to herself.
When meeting one of our animals in care, please remember that like a lot of animals, cats can take time to adjust to new people and environments no matter how friendly and loving they really are. We ask you to keep this in mind when meeting cats at meet βnβ greets (and when you take them home) and not rule them out straight away just because they are not all over you at the first meeting. You could miss out on the most wonderful companion. π
All of our cats are litter trained and must go to indoor only homes.
Adoption details
We ask that before you apply for one of our animals, you take the time to think through all aspects of having a pet in your home to ensure it is the right thing for both your family and the animal, now and in the future. Please consider how you would approach changes in your home that may affect your pet and how dedicated you would be to keeping/helping your animal when faced with any issues that may arise in the future.
If you have done this and are 100% sure that adopting is the right thing for you and your family, please fill in our adoption enquiry form - www.cognitoforms.com/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarra1/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarraIncAnimalEnquiry
Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in to see if it is the right match.
Before adoption, all of our animals are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated and heart worm tested (where appropriate).
