Meet Maria!

She is a beautiful blue/grey coloured, short-haired girl. Maria has been a little shy in the shelter but has been showing more and more of her lovely personality as time has gone on.
If you give her chin scratches she will be you best friend in no time and show off her lovely purring!
She is happy to have a pat and will sit next to you on the couch at night but she isn't overly fond of being picked up and held at the moment. If she wants attention she will come to you and ask for it.

Maria is looking for a patient owner who is willing to allow her time to come out of her shell and become more comfortable in her new environment. Maria is looking for a calm and quiet home where she can spend her time relaxing, after short bursts of energy and playfulness, since she is still a young girl.

She would benefit from having lots of toys and activities to keep her entertained during the day but Maria does not mind keeping watch over the house while you're out for the day.

Maria is safest as an indoor only cat, which works well for her- once she bonds with you she will be your new shadow!

She may be suited to a home with a friendly feline companion. They would need a slow introduction to each other in the home to ensure they start off our friendship on the right foot.

She is not suitable for a home with children as she may be a bit overwhelmed. She would be ok with older teenagers and adults.
