A long-term resident of our center, Olive has waited patiently to find her perfect match. She is an independent girl who adores being the star of her own show and can surely turn any ordinary day into an exciting adventure with her playful antics.
Olive loves to engage in activities to let out her playful energy. Whether it be a game of chase with ping pong balls, wide-eyed hunting of pom poms, or batting at string toys, she's always game. Olive also loves high vantage points. Don't be surprised if you find Olive perched on top of the fridge or a high shelf, merrily observing the world around her!
In terms of companionship, Olive can be quite independent. This independent streak of hers doesn't make her any less loving, though! Once she trusts, she shows her adorable side, curling up on a warm lap or rubbing against a caring hand that is bound to melt hearts. Olive likes to have the limelight to herself, but she can also tolerate other cats, making her a versatile addition to any household.
Olive has previously had Cat Flu. Although this condition usually resolves without complications, in some instances the cat may remain a carrier of this disease and the disease may recur in the future.
Just one note for potential adopters: Olive can get startled by loud noises or sudden movements, so a calm household where she can continue her serene reign as the queen is essential.
