About Savannah
Savannah or Savvy to her friends is a bright, engaged, vivacious puppy who is a great mix of party girl and nap enthusiast. Savvy is from a litter of 11 puppies and one of the more bold of the bunch. She is a switched on, is highly food motivated and loves training, we can see Savvy going far with a family that are keen to invest some time and effort into helping her accomplish rockstar status.
Her mum, a Boxer x Staffy and dad, a Belgian Malinois x Staffy, it's safe to say Savvy will likely reach just over the 30kg mark. She currently lives in a busy household and would do well as either a solo child with humans home more often than not or with a confident male dog who will play and show her the ropes. Her confidence out and about still needs some work and enrolling in puppy school / ongoing training is an absolute must.
Ideally Savvy's new family will have a bit of experience with med / large sized dogs, bonus points if they have bully breed experience. As he can be quite sensitive it's so important to manage her interactions with other dogs so he can build up his confidence and practice positive socialisation around known safe dogs and not just randoms at the dog park.
MY IDEAL HOME: will be with a family committed to ongoing training and socialisation, like all puppies I have lots of things to learn and signing up to puppy school and/or group classes where I can engage in positive training and build my confidence is a must.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am a medium energy puppy and will likely grow to need a decent amount of daily exercise and mental stimulation. A walk or two a day, adventures and a training session so I can practice new skills is a must.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I can be a little shy when I first meet children but warm up to be my regular outgoing self. I'd probably do best in a home with children 10 and up.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I enjoy the company of other dogs and would likely go well in a home with a confident male dog. I have met cats and can get a wee bit excited but if some effort was made initally to make sure I didn't practice bad habits, I would likely be fine with a cat.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
