About Joey
Meet Joey! Joey is a sweet and friendly short-haired black and white boy who loves his humans. He has shown off his lovely and outgoing personality to the staff from his first day in the shelter. Joey may be okay living with calm and older children. He is quite a playful young fellow who would love lots of toys and activities to keep him entertained during the day. Joey cannot live with other cats as he is positive for Feline Coronavirus (not to be mistaken for human Coronavirus), which can't be passed on to humans but can be passed on to other cats. For this reason, Joey needs to remain an indoor-only cat. Joey may be a good companion for another corona-positive feline, so long as they are introduced to each other properly.

You no longer need to submit an online application to adopt a dog, puppy, cat, kitten or small animal.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Burwood East and Peninsula locations:
