About Emmy
Re-Introducing Emmy!
Emmy is a domestic medium hair born 9th November 2022.
Emmy was brought in to the facility with her mum & sister when she was only 2 months old. All three of them were incredibly scared of humans and required a lot of socialisation. Emmy has come a long way since being with us but she is still shy when meeting new people. She is warming up to staff & volunteers with offerings of Dine treats. Our beautiful volunteer Pat has worked with Emmy every day since she arrived & she now gets greeted with purrs and affectionate body rolls. We believe that with a patient owner and in a quiet/calm home Emmy would learn to trust her new family and in time would greet them the same way.
We have found Emmy to be more confident when she is around other cats/kittens so it would be beneficial for her to either have an existing cat at home, or to be adopted with another cat from our facility.
If you're looking for an immediate lap cat, unfortunately Emmy isn't your girl, but if you're willing to work with her and make her feel safe & secure you will be rewarded with her beautiful heart and personality. This is something she hasn't been able to show many people because she's looked over so quickly.
Emmy is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Emmy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Emmy's adoption fee is $200 & this includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Emmy is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
