Eden

Meet Eden, an endearing female Bull Arab mix, who'll make a great addition to any active home. She weighs about 23 kgs.

Eden has a gentle, placid and affectionate temperament and loves humans. She's good with little children, including her foster mum's 4 year old grandson.

A clever girl, she is highly trainable and has already learned some basic commands, such as sitting for dinner and understanding the concept of “wait” when crossing the road.

Eden loves going for daily walks and can be walked off-leash in open areas because she has very good recall once bonded to her humans. On leash, she is a bit strong, but with continued guidance and practice, she'll get the hang of walking on a loose lead.

Playful and fun-loving, she likes a squeaky ball and being an active fielder in a family game of cricket.

Eden is house-trained and would prefer to be an inside-outside dog as she loves the companionship of her family.

She is dog-friendly and currently lives with a 12 year old female dog. She is not cat-friendly.

Eden barks at strangers who come onto her territory but for a good-sized girl, she has a surprisingly soft bark.

She prefers a rural or outer suburban environment with space to romp and play. She's shown no inclination to jump the fence at her foster home and, once bonded with her family, would be content to live within the confines of a generous-sized house yard.

Preference will be given to active homes where someone is around most of the time AND there is at least one other compatible dog for Eden to play with. Eden lives in Warwick, Queensland and is available for interstate adoption to an approved applicant.
