About Sandy
Sandy is a very sweet girl but she is timid and hasn't had alot of positive interactions with humans over her life. She likes other dogs and will let you pat her but won't take a treat from your hand yet.
Sandy is looking for a quiet home where she can learn to trust and love! Ideally she will have access to inside and out and have safe quiet spaces she can hide if shes needs some time out. She loves an outdoor kennel and a bed inside in a dark corner.
Sandy is not aggressive just timid, she has been groomed and all vet work done. She is not ready for walking outside the yard on a lead yet and her new owners will have to work towards that as her confidence increases.
Sandy is in foster care with another timid girl Lacey and they could be adopted as a pair or ideally Sandy would make a good companion for a friendly and confident dog that she can learn from. Sandy is very quiet and doesn't bark very much at all unless there is something unusual going on at night. She does love to lay in the sunshine on the grass.
If you have a quiet home, a well fenced yard and dedication and patience to give this girl you will see a beautiful happy dog emerge eventually!
