This is Benny!
If you’re looking for a local fetch lover, he can be found playing fetch with his soccer ball in the backyard.
He is inquisitive and loves exploring both indoors and outdoors.
He has a sweet and loving nature, with emotive eyes that make you feel happy.
People focused, he loves nothing more than to be with people and join in on what they are doing. He would be best suited to a family that is home more often than not and need to be invited inside.
He loves kids, he can run and play with the right amount of roughhouse and gentle.
He is polite at meal times and housetrained.
He walks well on the lead but can find it very exciting when another dog goes by on lead. His owners need to be committed to ongoing leash training.
Learning his social manners, he would need to be an only dog at the moment, and pocket pets are just too tempting.
The ideal home for Benny would include:
- Yard with Indoor Access
- Only Dog
- Experience with Working Breeds
- A good game of fetch.

Benny’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
