Lyra - Located in Coburg

Lyra came into care as a young mum with one little kitten. Lyra did a wonderful job bringing up her bub and he has now left the ‘nest’. It’s finally time for this mumma to find her forever home where she will be spoiled, cherished and given the attention she deserves and craves.

Lyra has the most beautiful nature. She is an absolute smooch! She wants to be close to her favourite human at all times. Lyra loves to cuddle up on your lap and sleep next to you in bed. You can expect regular head bumps and lots of other displays of feline love from this affectionate little girl.

Lyra is a huge fan of toys and… socks. Each day she reaches into the sock basket and brings out sock after sock and leaves them around the room for display. If you are lucky enough she may even ‘catch’ a sock and proudly bring it to you in bed. Her other favourite toy is a little red birdie that she carries around in her mouth as she sings the song of her people.

Lyra really enjoys the company of other cats and kittens. She loves to groom them, play rough and tumble and chasey games. She can play a little rough at times with other cats but would never actually hurt them.
Lyra would best suit a house with another cat and a family that can give her lots of toys and attention.
