WINKY
Winky is a beautiful, sweet-natured dog. She can be high-energy at times (particularly when she knows it's time for breakfast/dinner)
She enjoys a morning run or walk, she walks well on lead. She isn’t particularly into playing fetch/chasing as yet. She is generally quite a docile dog and is very happy to sleep and curl up with you for a cuddle on the lounge.
Winky is extremely trainable and really quite clever, particularly when she knows there is a food reward. She responds to commands, sit, lie down, stay, 'leave it' (for toys and food) and she will wait to be told to eat . Stimulation in the form of chew toys and kongs in particular, when they're stuffed with food keep her amused.
She is quite inquisitive and likes exploring her surrounding/finding anything and everything on offer around her. Ultimately she is a people-pleaser and you can see she just desperately wants love and attention from anyone she comes across. She will make a wonderful companion in the right home.
The home best suited to WINKY would have older children and no other pets, have someone home more often than not, have a secure yard with 6ft fencing, allow WINKY to be part of the family with inside access to the home.
If you think you could offer WINKY the home she yearns for, then please complete the Adoption Application below and one of our volunteers will be in contact with you.
