Introducing………WINNIE
At 5 ½ years young, Winnie is discovering a whole new world since becoming a KPR kid.
Although they loved her, Winnie’s family realised that they could not give her the life that she deserved and decided to surrender her so that we could find her a new family.
Before coming into our care, rental rules meant that Winnie has been a strictly outside dog and, with a busy family, an impending move to an unfenced property in the country and life becoming increasingly stressful, Winnie’s humans realised that that she would have a better life with someone else.
Winnie is a sweet girl but can be a little anxious around new people or new situations. She is still learning how to live as a pampered pooch so she will need someone who can continue helping her to feel comfortable and understand that everything is new to her.
Once Winnie feels at home, she is a loyal and loving girl. She loves pats and will happily sit on your lap while you watch tv.
Winnie loves her food, and she has figured out that being an inside girl is pretty awesome. She has figured out that her foster carers bed is super comfy and so is the couch.
With some time and some patience, Winnie will quickly become your new best friend. She has been good with the kids in her previous home and those that she has met since coming into care. She is good with other dogs and would be best suited to a home where there is someone home more often than not.
Winnie has had all of her vet work done, including a much needed dental.
Winnie is ready to start the search for her happily ever after. Is she the girl you have been waiting for?
