About Pearl
*In foster care in Westmead, Sydney*
Pearl is a real little lady - incredibly dignified, but she sure knows how to have a good time! While a perfectly chosen toy can keep her entertained for hours on end, she prefers respectful pats from her minions during quieter moments and is curious about society around her, always watching and learning.
Pearl also enjoys practising her acrobatic skills with a toy wand, and is known for her athletic leaping and bounding around her siblings!
A fuzzy pocket rocket with personality to spare, Pearl will delight you with her antics - going from a dozy cuddle bug to a zooming blur in the blink of an eye! Hanging out with her family and curling up on the bed with them at night are some of her favourite activities - especially when she gets to snooze on her human's backside as they sleep!
Like all Maggie's pets, Pearl is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be a relaxed sort of environment, preferably with no children under the age of five. There'll be spots for me to curl up and get cosy, but also plenty of space to run around and explore! I respond well to a gentle approach, and warm up over time.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! I'm very active in small doses, especially where a dangly toy's concerned - but I need lots of nice naps to recharge.
I do love to pose like a meerkat when I'm considering a new situation - then, upon reflection, bouncing and leaping like a spring! This was the case when I first encountered creamy treats, but when I sprang, I pushed everyone else away so I could nibble the delicious treat first ;)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I've not been around kids before, I think I'd respond in kind if I lived with some calm, gentle ones! I likely wouldn't cope so well around grabby young hands.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I totally adore my feline siblings! After a hard day of playing and wrestling with each other, we like to snuggle up together in a big pile and drift off to the land of nod.
Not so sure how I'd go with dogs, as I haven't met any at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
