About Poppy
Hi, my name's Poppy. I was trapped in Murray Bridge after being born on the streets. I've become to love being an indoor kitty and am finally able to find a furrever home all of my own!
I'm a social girl who loves human attention. Whether that's being held, sitting on your lap or following around, I'll be wherever you are! I love playing with the other cats as well, but would much prefer to spend my time in human company. My foster carer says I can be sassy sometimes, but that's just my tortie attitude shining through 😹
Poppy has been:
- Tried with cats and is fine with them
- Tried with a large-breed cat-friendly dog
- Tried with teenagers and is great with them
***To be kept strictly indoors only or with access to a secure cat enclosure***
Poppy is approximately 3 months old (DOB: 20/1/23) and her adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Parasite treatment up until the date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get her started.
Poppy is available to meet at her foster carer's home in Murray Bridge.
If you would like to meet her, please fill out the following application form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and her foster carer will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a time!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
