I'm Zoe - sweet, shy and sensitive. Before I came to the shelter I lived in a rural community and got quite used to the outdoors. I would love to belong with a family and be allowed indoors with them too, but I'd like to choose between inside and outside initially, call me a free spirit. I need time to settle and bond with new people; so please be patient and generous with your time for me and read my body language. I quickly bond with people I like and who make me feel secure. I really like my food and will associate that with good things, so if you have food, we'll be great pals in no time!

I would love a home where I feel safe and secure, so I won't feel the need to jump a fence looking for another home. A safe area such as a snuggly bed or crate would also be a great way to help me feel comfortable. No dog parks or beaches please, these are too overwhelming for me.
I must meet other dogs at time of adoption. I have been very worried by other dogs in the shelter. I will need a slow meet with a very calm respectful male doggie friend.
