When Sissy’s colony was trapped, neutered and released by another rescue, we saw a tender tabby trying to make herself small to stay safe, and we stepped in. She moved through two rescue groups and several foster homes before a year in a calm, loving home helped her believe that kindness is real.

She starts with soft steps and watchful eyes, choosing a cosy corner to take everything in; then come the first slow blink, the whisper-meow, and the careful decision to settle nearby. With gentle routines and time, she unfolds—never loud, always lovely—padding to a sunny window, accepting a light brush, and relaxing into the presence of a human who celebrates the little wins: eating in the open, napping where you can see her, greeting you at the door.
