About Clyde
Our sweet labrador boy Clyde is now ready to find a loving home as a town based companion.
Clyde has a beautiful gentle nature, with the little bit of that crazy labrador nature - slow to mature. Clyde is still a baby being 15 months old. He is in the chewing, digging and ripping up blankets stage of development. Clyde will grow out of that stage (some time 😁). Clyde has not been a barker in care, but will alert bark occassionally.
Clyde loves hanging out with his people. He loves his walks (strong on the lead initially but then settles in). Clyde also loves a run in the dog park.
Clyde can take a bit to warm up to other dogs. He is currently in foster care with Jace ( German Shepherd x Kelpie pup) and they are great mates. Clyde will initially avoid new dogs. We suspect he has had a negative experience in the past.
Clyde has a down side....he can not be on rural property near livestock. Clyde was surrendered to a pound for chasing sheep (for fun!). Clyde has not been exposed to poultry or cats during his foster care placement. We do believe though that Clyde has been raised around children and cats prior to surrender.
Clyde is desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated. His adoption fee is $800.
Clyde would make an awesome family dog. He is very gentle and sweet.
Please note: We will not rehouse Clyde to a rural property.
To register interest in providing Clyde a home please email us at phoenixarh@outlook.com and tell us what type of home you can offer this amazing fellow.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
