Garfield was retrieved, along with his five siblings, from a back yard in Hampton Park when he was around 4 weeks old. He had some serious cattitude when he first arrived in his foster carer's home, however it didn't take him long to settle in and love the pampered life.
Garfield lives up to his name - he loves food and has an air of arrogance and confidence that is quite endearing. He loves to hang out with the resident house dog whenever the dog will let him, and he loves smooching especially at night time after his dinner. Garfield and his siblings send their foster carer off to sleep at night with a purring symphony. He loves playing with toys and tearing around the house causing mayhem with his brothers and sisters.
He would do best with company either from a sibling adopted with him, a house cat who will tolerate being bossed around a little or a cat-friendly doggo that will be around if his owners are out. He has grown up with a 7 year old and an occasional 2 year old and has displayed no concerning behaviour.
This beautiful ginger boy will be a lifelong friend, so if you think you can give him the home he deserves, please fill out an application form.
