About Havoc
Havoc is a 1 year and 2 month old beautiful purebred Long Hair German Shepherd
Please let us take this moment to introduce you to Havoc a gorgeous boy who’s rugged looks will you have thinking he is a tough guy but not so secretly he is a big softy who once comfortable in his surroundings, blossoms
Havoc has come into care a couple of months ago and while he was in great health he were very sheltered and not used to many things that happened in the world. Havoc was used to living behind a color bond fence so while he was very settled and happy behind this – his socialization in the world was nonexistent.
Havoc came into care very timid – getting into the car was a huge deal. Having a lead on was a big scary thing and his ‘go to’ was to drop on the ground and freeze. Havoc’s foster mum has worked really hard with him on giving him confidence and excitement when learning new things and going for walks.
Whilst Havoc has spent his life with other dogs and is super friendly and gets along with nearly every dog, Havoc has had some help with getting confidence with other dogs in his foster carers home – he went from being scared of a small French bulldog bossing him around to now happily snoozing and doing everything she says (Havoc is very submissive to small female dogs who are bossy)
We will be requiring that Havoc goes to a home with another dog for socialization and also just good old fashion company and play time!
Havoc’s personality can only be described as sweet and loving and his favorite past time is to lay on his bed or on the floor next to his human while they work.
Havoc’s foster mum says he is incredibly gentle and well-mannered around children of all ages, he’s been around a 2.5 year old and happily follows her around or lays while she brushes him.
Havoc would benefit from a home where his family is either able to work from home or be at home if Havoc could, he would Velcro himself to you simply as he’s gaining his confidence and getting reassurance from his humans.
If Havoc is left home alone for 8+ hours he would be a very vocal boy letting the world know of his sorrows.
Havoc is loving being able to sleep in side at night – he is crate trained however has been known to sneak onto the bed if not crated.
Havoc does get car sick, and car trips although have become a happier place for him, he is still a little anxious so this will need continued work.
Havoc is a gentle boy with lovely manners and will sit on command. He has picked up walking like an amazing champion that he is and that is an amazing site to see
Havoc idea of heaven is being able to interact with his family – inside and outside the house. Havoc will need an owner who is happy to continue to work with him building up his confidence and training.
Havoc is toilet trained
Havoc has not been tested with cats
Havoc has had a few hydro baths and grooms since being in care – unfortunately he did have a bit of a messy matted coat when he arrived, but he is now getting the hang of these and loves the cuddles that he gets from the groomer. He is also very happy to be brushed thru the week.
Havoc loves nothing more than at night time being in the house with his family - having belly rubs or cuddles and the smile he gives you makes it all worthwhile.
Havoc has a lot of love to give, and any family would be lucky to have him part of their lives.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
