Courage

Hey there. My name's Courage and I'm an affectionate boy who is looking for an owner to help build my confidence and who will understand I'll need support moving into my forever home. Now, I'm not really living up to my name right now: a little like the Lion from The Wizard of Oz. That's because I missed out on important socialisation in my formative few months of life, so I'm a bit fearful of the big wide world. I can become easily overwhelmed in new environments and when meeting new people. To support me in my socialisation, I'll need to be allowed indoors and included in family activities. I'll need to meet any other pooches you have at home at time of adoption. I've been known to be very playful with other pups here at the Centre so I'll likely do well with an adult dog who is well established in the home to offer guidance and confidence as I settle into my home. I'd prefer older children to littlies if you don't mind because of my anxious disposition. Anyhow, that's enough about me.
