About Odin
Have you ever seen a more divine, wrinkly, goofy face before?
Odin is a Treeing Walker Coonhound x, a rarer breed known for their intelligent, loving & keen to learn nature.
Affectionate, super friendly, goofy, eager to please and full of personality, Odin is an absolute delight to have in your life. That beautiful wrinkled head and happy face is guaranteed to make you smile often.
Odin is a perfect mix of active and couch potato.
He's always up for long walks-sniffing and exploring new places is a favorite, a good run, playing with toys or his canine friends and adventures to anywhere!
He also enjoys pottering about with you, lounging about the yard inspecting the garden and the all the critters around him, naps in the sun or on his bed or even on you: he missed the memo about not being a lap dog!
Odie is a smart boy. He knows his basic obedience and has even tried some basic tracking work. He would love to continue to learn new things to impress you and keep his mind content.
He absolutely loves other dogs. His current mates range from Great Dane x, Lab and dachshund. He plays beautifully with all sizes and tries his best to be very polite and gentle.
Odin is also great with kids. He loves having little humans to play, cuddle and explore with. He may forget he is bigger than they are so will need confident children and may be best with older kids. Continued training will help Odie be calmer around smaller children.
His sweet, playful, happy, gentleman like nature and fun spirit makes Odin a wonderful all round companion & ideal family dog for camping trips, hikes or Netflix binges.
He will fit into any lifestyle so long as his needs are being met.
Odin has good basic obedience however will require from continued training. With some dedication he will be the most amazing doggo! He is wonderful inside, house trained and sleeps on his bed or his crate all night.
Odin will need a home where his people are around a lot, plenty of opportunity to spend time putting that hound nose to work sniffing new environments, humans dedicated to continuing his training & exposure and where he is included as a true member of the family.
He will need another doggo in his home to be his best friend so he always has company.
If you think you have the home and love Odin needs, please send us a message and tell us about you and what you have to offer!
