Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Layla - 9 Week Old Staffy X Kelpie (Trial)
My name is Layla and I am super smart and playful. I love running around the garden with my brother Louis (also up for adoption).
I can already sit on command and am starting to be toilet trained.
I would really love a family to make me the centre of attention or an older dog to play with. I sleep perfectly through the night after my busy day. I will make a wonderful loyal companion.
Vet is happy with my progress and health and thinks there may be some German Shepherd in me too!
Layla Overview-
- Loves to ride in the car, tug of war, chasing balls and sleeping.
- She is very clever and is a quick learner
- She is dog and child friendly
- She will need a secure yard with fencing
- Will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 5/6 months old
Layla will be available for collection from mid May 2023
Layla's adoption fee is $700.00 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Layla is in foster care in Dudley, NSW. Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.
To apply to meet Layla, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. If you have any questions, you can send an email to DRN.lisagibson@gmail.com.
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name NOT just the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
As she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 5-6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
