Ascot is a gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be by your side almost at all times. He has enjoyed being part of our family, which includes active/loud teenagers and two large breed dogs, a male and a female. He can hold his own quite well. He appears to be toilet trained 95% of the time. Ascot is comfortable sleeping in a crate overnight if required. As time has gone on we discovered it's working better for him to have access to the doggy door when he needs it.
He loves tummy rubs and snuggling with his humans on the couch. He has never been allowed up on the human beds. I’m sure he would oblige if on offer.
On the sunny days he has enjoyed time outside in the garden at home running around with our dogs. He loves a daily walk about town with or without his foster siblings.

He travels well in the car if you have a road trip planned. A sweet companion indeed.
Ascot is looking for someone willing to place his needs as a high priority, he likes being number one, not a dog to be left alone for hours as he would likely get up to mischief.
He doesn’t bark as much as I expected for this breed which has been pleasing. He barks more to alert us to visitors, or to engage the large dogs in more play.
He is more an inside dog than an outside one.
