About Huxley
Huxley is an older boy who came into our care quite neglected, but has blossomed whilst in the foster care.
Huxley has good manners, no barking, begging or jumping.
He loves his food, currently eats with a slow feeder, but he will wait patiently for his food and treats. Huxley learns boundaries quickly.
He is relaxed in the garden, loves to lay in the sun, he will alarm bark if he hear an unfamiliar noise.
He knows the following commands: Sit, shake and wait, he will listen well so long as there are not too many outdoor distractions.
Huxley has a way to go with his lead training, but training will be offered to the new owner.
He would be better suited in a quieter environment, he would not suit living in noisy/busy environment.
He has met cats on his walk, he will whine when he sees a cat, similar to when he sees a dog.
Huxley can be unsure with some men when initially meeting, but once he feel safe he is friendly towards new people.
Huxley bonds quickly, and will become your shadow.
Children are unknown at this stage.
Huxley will be happy with one good walk a day, he just needs to be given a chance, he has had a bit of a rough life so far - he deserves a break.
Medical notes
Requires a Malaseb bath every week or two, has had skin condition that is almost healed completely.
