Dartagnan

Dartagnon is a stunning blonde and black Long Hair Dachshund who is looking for his forever home. He is almost 4 years old and contrary to the breed, Dartagnon is a quiet boy who doesn't like to cause too much fuss. He gets startled by loud noises and sudden movements when in a new environment however once settled in he is calm and happy to sit and watch what everyone is doing.

Dartagnon is house trained and loves to cuddle or catch some Z's in a comfy bed. Due to not having a ""normal"" dog life for the first couple of his years, he is a little timid and needs a confident doggy friend to keep showing him all the perks puppy life has to offer! He likes to play wrestle and has started to show interest in stuffed doggy toys.

Dartagnon loves his food and will do a little happy dance for his treat making him easily trainable. He would be best suited to a home with children over 10 years of age who are comfortable around dogs and understand he may get overwhelmed in their presence at first and will take time to learn they're his friend.

Dartagnon has a lovely soft coat which being long haired will require regular brushing and occasional trimming to keep him looking dapper!

Dartagnon is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated. He is house trained and will go to the back door when he would like to go out and explore the backyard. He has had a full vet check and been given a clean bill of health.
