Belladonna

Bella is such a beautiful girl, inside and out. She is timid and looks to her human for a lot of comfort, love and reassurance.

She is loving and affectionate, playful, inquisitive and energetic. Bella is social with dogs, cats and chickens, once she has had time to get to know them.

Bella is reactive around strangers, barks* and keeps her distance. We have never known her to bite a stranger, but this is
something of which we are cautious, so she is always monitored when visitors are present. *Sadly Bella has been cruelly debarked by one of her former owners, so her bark sounds more like a cough.

Once Bella gets to know someone, she is the most loving and devoted girl ❤️ She would prefer a home without young children, but over 12 should be fine.

Bella has spent her life being showed and bred, so she is still learning all about living as a companion animal inside with a family. As such, she still has a ways to go with her toilet training and will benefit from a regular toilet schedule, since she cannot bark to let you know she needs to potty.

Bella is very inquisitive and has shown to chew on little items that she finds, like loose lip balms and pens.

Bella must be an inside pet to protect her skin from the sun. She does enjoy being outdoors, so she would very much enjoy access to a patio or verandah and daily walks early or late in the day.

Bella can be prone to fretting when she is without her humans, so she must be kept inside when you’re not home.

Bella’s adoption fee includes her desexing, C4 vaccination, heartworm prevention and Grade 4 dental scale and polish with tooth extractions + pedigree papers.

Hairless dog breeds are prone to bad teeth, so it is likely she will need another dental or two during her lifetime.

Due to her breed, Bella must be an inside dog. She enjoys outside time but must have plenty of access to undercover areas and shade.

Bella’s forever home must have secure fencing and understand that she should not be left outside unattended.
