About Billy
Hi my name is Billy! I’m a 18 month old black and white border collie and I’m a very happy, clever and sweet boy.
I love being close to my people, playing with other dogs big and small, playing fetch and chasey. Other dogs don’t phase me and after a slow introduction to new humans, I will be your best friend. I am an active boy, you should see how fast I can run! I love exploring, sniffing and going for walks. I enjoy getting endless pats and belly rubs, for which I will thank you in licks!
I can sit, drop, stay, shake and wait for my dinner patiently. I sleep all night in my crate without making a sound until the morning. My toilet training is coming along nicely too. I’m currently learning how to walk with a loose lead, I’m a quick learner so that won’t take long. I know my name and I’m beginning to come when called, but will need more practice, although I don’t stray too far from your side anyway.
I can climb and jump very high, so I need either a secure and safe environment, or a doggy/human pal at home to make me want to stay there! I also need a family that is familiar with working breeds, can understand the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed and be committed to continuing my training and socialisation. I would benefit from having an active doggy sibling for me to play with and keep me company.
I’m so ready to find a loving forever home. If you think I would suit your family, please complete the adoption form! I can’t wait to meet my new family, lots of love and licks, Billy!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
