About Patty-Cakes
Meet our beautiful lady Patty-Cakes😻
When we rescued Patty she was a frightened and timid new mummy trying to care for her babies - she really was still a baby herself & was probably only 6-8 months old.
At first she was in the bedroom so she had her own quiet & safe space but she would hide every time someone walked in. She was very wary, but so smart & was an excellent mum - she even managed to open the bottom drawer of the bedside table & hid her kittens in there so they were safe. The first time Patty-Cakes encountered toys she was terrified of them and hid under the bed - she had obviously never had a toy or learned to play
As she started to relax and feel more comfortable her personality really developed. She is going to be shy and wary at first but it won't take her long to start to trust you. If you are patient and loving while she gets to know you - it will be so worthwhile as you discover that she is a sweet, polite and quiet lady who absolutely loves a cuddle and a pat. She loves toys nowadays but her favorite thing is a sturdy box with a door and a few windows cut in it. She still has that kitten playfulness and is an absolute delight.
